About the Book
Over the course of the last few years I have written a number of articles on various agile topics that have been published my the Scrum Alliance. This led me to start my own blog and eventually publishing these posts on my own website.
One of my most successful blog posts relates to the daily stand-up. As I observed teams and individuals begin their agile journey, I was able to identify some issues that were being encountered that meant the daily stand-up was not as fluid and successful as it could be. This led me to create an acronym that could be shared with the team in order to help them understand the reasons for and purpose of the daily stand-up.
Now, I want to take this a step further. In this book, as well as providing details of the acronym, I will be sharing tips and tricks that will hopefully help in its successful implementation and an improvement in your daily stand-up.

The following document contains a set of printable cards. These cards have been created as an additional tool for gathering data about your daily stand-up. Following aggregation, analysis and discussion, this data can be used to help identify areas for, and actions allowing for, potential improvements to your daily stand-up to be implemented. Instructions on the way that these cards can be used are included in the document. N.B. The document has been formatted to try and allow for the cards to be printed double-sided. This was based upon my own printer settings.
The FOCUSED Daily Stand-Up Daily Log
The FOCUSED Daily Stand-Up Daily Log provides you with with a template to capture details about what the team were working on yesterday, their plan for today and details of any impediments. Alongside this is the FOCUSED Daily Stand-Up Checklist, which allows you to note if your daily stand-up was FOCUSED.
