I write this book to help my students in their assignments. In the database assignments, the students are asked to create ERD with Dia, this book is the book to help them to use Dia. The students are asked to create a report and it must have "Appropriate use of figures and tables [they need to be yours – not copied from the papers] ". This book will help them to use Dia.
This book aim to equip the reader with GIMP, Dia, Inkscape and Graphic Design basics. There will be many examples and explanations that are straight to the point. You will be creating web site design using GIMP, CRISP DM, flowchart, ERD with Dia, and Business cards with Inkscape.
