A Very Brief (but sufficient) Guide to Running a Managing Dependencies Workshop

About the Book

In preparation for running a workshop to help teams deal with dependencies, I did some web research and found that help is spread thinly on the internet. Most of it is found in conference talks and blog posts. Having brought together what I know about the topic into a single workshop, and inspired by Allan Kelly's book "Books to be Written", I'm sharing what I do based on thirty years in the field so that anyone can replicate my dependency management workshop with their teams. Few of the ideas in this book are original, and I cite the innovators from whom I've borrowed when I know, or think I know, who they are. LeanPub requires a price of at least $7.99, so to make it worth your while when the book is finished I'll also create tools for running the workshop online.
