Kyle J. Tobin

Kyle J. Tobin has spent nearly twenty years getting technology into production inside large, regulated organizations, and learning how much of what decides the outcome is never written down. At one of the largest US banks, he turned a 239-step release process that took six to nine months into a governed path to production that ships in under thirty days. As a director of AI product consulting at Contino, he led forward-deployed product and engineering teams, recovered a stalled multi-year AI roadmap by narrowing it to one production win, and was building multi-agent enterprise AI platforms in early 2023. Between enterprise roles he built a barbecue business from an empty trailer, owning everything from the kitchen's plumbing to the chart of accounts. He taught himself IT while tending bar. He now consults and builds products through the TAL Company, and lives in Vancouver, Washington, where he is usually woodworking or cooking barbecue.
