Earl James Gobin
AUTHOR’S BIOGRAPHY Earl James Gobin was born in Trinidad and Tobago, where he was raised in a small village shaped by humble beginnings and firsthand experiences with abject poverty. From an early age, he and his siblings developed a very deep commitment to defending and supporting oppressed and marginalized communities around the world—values instilled by their parents and carried forward throughout his life and work.As such, I would like to recognize my spouse, siblings, sons, and grandchildren for their ongoing support, empathy, compassion, and eternal love. Earl is a global human rights activist, environmental advocate, and digital content creator and blogger. Over the past decade, he has authored numerous blogs focused on raising awareness of global human rights abuses and crimes against humanity in every corner of the Globe. In October 2023, he launched a LinkedIn initiative examining Big Tech ’s role in alleged genocide complicity and the ethical implications of advanced AI technologies in modern conflict and genocide. In connection with this work, he has provided inputto the UN Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories (Ms. Francesca Albanese) and has pursued formal actions related to corporate accountability in international forums, including the International Criminal Court (ICC). Professionally, Earl is a senior business and IT executive with more than 40 years of experience leading technology-driven growth and strategic digital transformation across global markets. He is recognized for combining commercial insight with deep technical expertise to help organizations unlock value from data, optimize and modernize their business operations, and scale their defined innovation journey. Earl also undertook multi-year international assignments in Latin America, based in Mexico City, and in Southeast Asia, based in Beijing, China. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership and advisory roles with leading global enterprises, including IBM, Hewlett -Packard, Teradata, Microsoft Corporation, The Neal & Massy Group of Companies (Caribbean Conglomerate), and KPMG Peat Marwick. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology, he has shaped go -to-market initiatives, built global partner ecosystems, and advised executive leadership on strategy and complex enterprise digital transformations. He holds an MBA in marketing and business administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Today, Earl authors and speaks at the intersection of humanity and the deliberate and blatant abuse of power. His work is guided by a simple but unwavering belief: silence in the face of human suffering is not neutrality, and the pursuit of true justice —however difficult—remains one of the most necessary unselfish acts of our time. We are all ontological travelers, journeying endlessly across shifting worlds of being, where each moment carries us from one realm of existence into the next.
