  1. Existenzmaximum
    Existenzmaximum
    Marcel Borchert

  2. The Essays on Aesthetics Volume 2

Broadly defined, Aesthetics inform us about what is worth our time and interest in Nature and Art, or in life in general. For Schiller, it is the aesthetic condition which everyone should be reaching for, to allow the advent of the true republic where the human being “neither has to offend the freedom of others in order to affirm his, nor has to throw away his dignity in order to show grace”.   Hence, the following collection of essays is divided into two parts, an individual level aimed at giving supplemental awareness to the human being about what he or she can do with his or her inner drive and actions; and a national level geared at the continuous education of the citizens through the appropriate exhibition of national events.

  4. PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS FOR EXTRAORDINARY TIMES
PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS FOR EXTRAORDINARY TIMES
Selected by a Lady from Prayer-book Classics
    Aunt Le

Why read ancient prayers?  Well, there's the comfort of making the acquaintance of God's faithful whom we will someday meet in our glory everlasting; there's the widening up of our own vocabulary so that phrases like "someday meet in our glory everlasting" go tripping off our tongue....

  5. The Essays on the Sublime
    The Essays on the Sublime
Translated from German by J. Marc Rakoto-Lahy
    F. Schiller

On the Sublime “No human being must abide”, says the Jew Nathan to the Dervish, and these words are, to a large extent, truer than one may be willing to concede. The willpower is a typical disposition of the human genre, and Reason is its unique, eternal rule. The whole Nature acts reasonably, the prerogative of the human being is really that he acts reasonably with conscience and willpower. All other things in Naturemust abide; the human being is the only creature who decides for himself. Precisely for this reason, nothing is so undignified to the human being than to endure power, for power suppresses his humanity. No matter who exercises this power upon us, makes Humanity no less than disputable to us; and he who endures power in a cowardly manner, throws his humanity away.

  13. Light: Philosophy
    Light: Philosophy
    Ankur Mutreja

What is Philosophy? Is it the exclusive domain of those who dream in abstract? Or is it the manifestation of the struggle of those who practice in material? I started writing philosophy without actually knowing that I was writing one. To start with, it was an outlet to project my frustration in the form of writings. But I don’t know when those ramblings started getting matured into Philosophy and all puerility and abuses purified themselves on the way, and here I share it with you.
