Ted Hagos

I’ve spent the last 20+ years building software and teaching others how to do the same. I've written eight books for Apress on things like Android, Java, and Kotlin, but I’ve always felt that technical books should be more like conversations and less like lectures.

I don’t care much for fluff or "enterprise-speak." Whether I'm explaining a Spring workflow or an IntelliJ shortcut, my goal is the same: to show you the shortest path from an empty editor to a working feature.

I’m on LeanPub because tech moves too fast for traditional printing cycles. Here, I can give you the "alpha" versions of what I’m working on, and we can keep the content updated as the tools change.

If you're looking for deep-dives that respect your time and skip the filler, you're in the right place.
