SETTI BENALI

SETTI Benali is a plant pathologist and microbiologist with extensive experience in university teaching, research, and scientific supervision. During his academic career, he taught courses in mycology, bacteriology, plant virology, plant disease epidemiology, and plant disease control, and supervised master's and doctoral research in plant pathology, biotechnology, and microbiology.

His research has focused on the use of molecular marker tools for the identification, typing, and characterization of plant pathogenic microorganisms, as well as on the application of image analysis for the assessment of foliar diseases.

He has published more than 20 scientific articles in the field of plant pathology and has authored several reference works, including Dictionnaire de Pathologie Végétale, Dictionnaire de Virologie Végétale, Glossary of Molecular Biology Terms, and A Comprehensive Glossary of Plant Virology and Virus–Host Interactions.

He continues his scientific work as an independent author and researcher, developing specialized reference and educational resources in plant pathology, microbiology, and related fields.
