Muhammad Sohaib Roomi is a self-taught vibe-coder, app developer, and the kind

of person who builds the tool he wished had existed when he needed it most — which is

exactly how this guide came to be.

Sohaib holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and a Master's degree in

Cyber Security from the University of Lancaster and the University of Hertfordshire

respectively. His path into software development did not follow the traditional

computer science route — it started with curiosity, accelerated with AI-assisted coding

tools, and never really slowed down.

After spending time building several macOS apps in SwiftUI, Sohaib is currently

developing Snipr — a privacy-first macOS app that lets creators generate viral short-form

clips from long-form video, entirely locally on their machine. Think Opus.pro, but

nothing leaves your computer. It is the kind of project that sits at the intersection of AI

capability and genuine user need, which is where Sohaib does his best work.
