Lorie Gordon is a seasoned Agile Coach, transformation leader, and practitioner with more than 18 years of experience guiding teams and organizations through meaningful change. She has practiced Agile and Scrum since 2008, working across software engineering, digital commerce, and supply chain domains within both private enterprise and large-scale government environments
With a foundation in Computer Science and early career experience in global supply logistics through the U.S. Air Force, Lorie blends technical fluency, systems thinking, and people-centered leadership. She has held roles spanning Software Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Enterprise Agile Coach, enabling her to coach effectively at the individual, team, leadership, and organizational levels
Currently serving as a Lead Agile Coach in a rapidly scaling government organization, Lorie drives enterprise agility across 20~ cross-functional teams. Her work focuses on establishing strong Agile foundations, improving team health and organizational maturity, shaping metrics, tooling best practices, and coaching leaders through complexity, growth, and change. She is known for translating Agile theory into practical, sustainable ways of working that balance alignment with autonomy and outcomes with empathy
Lorie holds Scrum Alliance certifications (CSM, CSPO) and ICAgile credentials in Agile Coaching & Facilitation, with training in Enterprise Transformation, and she is deeply engaged in the Agile community through mentoring, facilitation, and professional gatherings. A natural connector and active listener, her coaching style emphasizes trust, clarity, and continuous improvement
Outside of work, Lorie is an accomplished sand sculptor, avid gardener, and enthusiastic home cook. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family and remains passionate about bringing people together to build resilient teams and organizations
