Lisa Sonora is an American artist and writer living in Mexico.

Her first book, The Creative Entrepreneur: A DIY Guidebook to Making Business Ideas Real (Quarry, 2008) launched a movement empowering artists to use their creativity as an asset in business. In 2013 she published a memoir, Sketchbooks. 

As a lover of global travel and wild spaces accessible only by helicopter, she learned that making something new is a lot like adventturing into the backcountry wilderness. 

For over 20 years, and across 5 continents (and counting!) she has led people on creative adventures, inner & outer.
