I am a 37 year veteran of the IT industry, with the last 17 years focused entirely on Salesforce. I am a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, MVP Hall of Fame, keynote speaker and regular presenter at Dreamforce, World Tour and Salesforce community events.

I was the CTO of BrightGen, a Salesforce Platinum/Summit partner in the UK, from 2011 until their acquisition by Credera in 2021, at which point I assumed the role of Salesforce CTO. Since March 2025 I've been an independent Salesforce specialist, but mostly focused on Open Source software development, the Salesforce Developer Community, and writing.
