**Hani M.M. Al-Shater** has spent his career in machine learning and AI as a technical leader. He has worked on community feedback systems at scale---where questions of trust and verification weren't abstract but operational.   He investigates practical philosophical ideas, trying to understand and uplift how we think about AI, work, and technology. System 3 is an attempt to answer these questions honestly. Outside work, he lives with his wife and four kids, reads constantly, and finds that building things is how he thinks best.
