Giles Turnbull
Between 2012 and 2017, Giles was part of the influential creative team at the Government Digital Service, helping to explain its work to the outside world. Since leaving the civil service he has set up his own consulting company, Use the human voice, and worked for public and private sector clients including Defra, the Department for Education, Homes England, Public Digital, Comic Relief, Dot Everyone, EdTech Hub and Essex County Council. In a previous career as a journalist, he specialised in writing about the internet and computers. He wrote a syndicated newspaper column for the Press Association, and freelance contributions for the BBC, The Daily Telegraph, Time, MacUser magazine, The Guardian, The Unofficial Apple Weblog, Cult of Mac and O’Reilly Publishing's MacDevCenter.
