Eric Mayor

Dr Eric Mayor is a researcher in psychology and artificial intelligence (AI). With extensive experience studying how individuals, groups and organizations interpret and adapt to uncertainty, he brings a rigorous, evidence-based lens to the governance challenges of AI. In "Inscrutable AI? Governing thinking machines in an aging world", Mayor combines insight from cognitive science, psychology, philosophy of the mind as well economics and law to examine how societies can responsibly develop, deploy, and regulate artificial intelligence in the face of the global aging of workforces.
