Alan McIntyre is a software engineer and applied mathematician who has been writing code professionally since the late 1990s. He spent a decade as a nuclear technician in the US Navy before moving into software development, and his career since then has covered computational geometry, computer vision, deep learning, and mathematical modeling--generally in C++ and Python. He holds an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University. He maintains the open-source neat-python library. He operates CodeReclaimers, LLC from North Carolina.
