Avalynn Circe is a Minneapolis-based developer and writer with ten years of experience building data-driven interfaces, SaaS platforms, and API-connected systems across healthcare, finance, education, and enterprise environments. She has worked across the full stack — from Angular and React front ends to WordPress, PHP, and SQL-backed systems — and has spent much of her career translating complex technical work into language that non-technical people can act on.

JavaScript: The Parts grew out of a personal experience of learning the language by imitation, feeling the gap, and spending years building the foundation that formal instruction never provided. It is the first book in the Primitive Parts series, a planned collection of foundational technical guides covering the full self-taught developer curriculum.
