Akhand Singh
I write about ordinary moments that refuse to stay small. My debut novel, The Slip of Me (2016), is a contemporary coming-of-age story set in and around Jabalpur. It trails Vikram—a quiet teenager—and his friends as they stumble through first love, school corridors, and the identity puzzles that come with leaving home. The same concerns—memory, friendship, and the weather in our heads—run through my poems.
For more than a decade I’ve published my work openly on my site: lyric poems, short reflections, and a small shelf of e-books and short stories.
On Leanpub, I’m releasing In Every Breath, a Thought a poetry collection as (pay-what-you-want) volumes so readers can download, receive updates, and read at their own pace.
Alongside poetry and fiction, I also write technical books on front-end engineering and observability—practical guides for building fast, reliable, and human-centered web experiences. If you enjoy the poems, you might like the tech work too (and vice versa).
