The Way of Al-Sadiq Al-Amin

Before he was a Prophet, he was known as Al-Amin: the Trustworthy.

Long before revelation, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) was a working man in the busy trading city of Makkah. He was an orphan who began by tending sheep for a small wage, a caravan trader who carried Khadijah's (R.A.) goods to Syria, and a business partner whose old associate remembered, years later, that he had never once argued or disputed. After the Hijrah he built the free and fair market of Madinah, set its standards and regulations, and taught a complete code of ethical trade that still guides millions today.

The Way of Al-Sadiq Al-Amin reads the Seerah through the lens of enterprise. It follows the authentic stories of his working life, draws out the principle behind each one, and turns them into practical frameworks for today's founders, managers, investors and professionals.

• The Prophetic Model for the Modern Entrepreneur: Islamic finance contracts and their Prophetic roots, the Five Pillars of the Prophetic Business Model, a Ten-Step Roadmap, and a Prophetic Business Audit checklist.
