About the Book
My main goal is to help you get started writing automation code using a programming language and have the basic knowledge you need to do so. This book is not a comprehensive introduction. This is a guide to getting started in the field of test automation. I argue that to start writing automation scripts you need only a basic set of programming language knowledge to start adding value to automation projects. In fact, when I started writing automated scripts to support my test cases, I used only the initial level of knowledge in the field of programming language. I also want the book to be small and accessible, so that people actually read it and apply the approaches described in it in practice.
