As I’m starting to write this book, or whatever this will end up being, maybe just a Twitter thread, I’m thinking about why I’m doing this. The first thing that comes to mind is that I want to empty my brain of all the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years. The other thing that comes to mind is that I want to understand myself, why I’ve over the years gotten into the weirdest arguments of something needing to be built a certain way, and my only explanation at the time was “it just has to be built this way”. Being neuro divergent, I’ve always operated from an intuition based approach which has made me quite difficult to work with. Thus, in an attempt to explain myself, to myself, I set forth digging into the subject of why everything in startup product development boils down to Speed of Iteration.
