Moulay Driss Batbouti, born in 1952 in Casablanca, Morocco, is a man attached to memory, lived experiences, and the stories that life leaves behind.
Coming from a technical background rather than a literary one, he devoted a large part of his life to football. It was in this world that he learned the value of courage, perseverance, responsibility, and self-confidence.
Today, he devotes himself to writing his memories and his lived stories. He does not present himself as a literary writer, but as a keeper of his memory, the one who tells what he has seen, felt, and lived, in his own words.
His stories speak of encounters, hardships, suffering, hope, and above all, the experiences that have marked his journey.
