Just finished reading Barry O'Reilly's book "Residues: Time, Change, and Uncertainty in Software Architecture", highly recommend it. It is not very often that new ideas come around in IT Architecture. Conway's Law is from 1967, The Mythical Man-Month was published in 1975, the Gang of 4 Design Patterns was published in 1994, Domain Driven Design is from 2003. And now in 2024 we have Residuality Theory.
