Volocity is an imaging analysis software developed by Perkin Elmer Company. It can be used for visualization, modification and quantitation of 2D images, 3D volumes or 4D volume sequences, including multi-channel images.

Utilizing strategies in this manual, Volocity can analyze large amount of data within minutes, which means one can get results almost immediately after imaging. Strategies in this manual mainly came from the author’s trials, reflection, and exploration of Volocity User Guide for Volocity 6.3. They also showed the entire development process of current assays in use.
