A field guide to the requirements sheet and the prototype gates

About the Book
A liquid load bank that stands in for an NVL72-class rack is a test instrument, not a cooler and not a drawing. This field guide tells you what to write down before anyone cuts metal, and which gates a prototype must pass before you call it finished. You leave with two documents a stranger can use: a requirements sheet and a prototype acceptance sheet. The book covers the six functions, the duty as a set of quantities, the rack-side boundary, the heat path, the data exit, the stops that must work when the network does not, and the file you hand over with the machine. It does not give hole sizes, a fabrication package, or a site procedure. It does not paste a vendor specification. Flow, temperature, pressure, and fitting family stay blank until you cite the revision then in force. Standards are named by title. Their text is not reproduced. The next book reads the data. The book after that runs one hall test. This one stops at the prototype.
