Dabei will doch jeder zuverlässige Softwareprodukte.

Joachim Decker has been working in the fields of Test Management, Test Engineering, and Test Automation for more than 25 years. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience across various industries, including automotive, e-commerce, energy, e-health, and many others.
Joachim's greatest ambition? To live to be 1,000 years old. Yes, you read that right — one thousand years!
Why? It's simple: he intends to stick around until everyone truly understands just how valuable software testing is. And let's face it, convincing everyone might take a while.
But seriously, this ambition has nothing to do with pessimism or a lack of hope. Quite the opposite. It reflects the reality that software testing still doesn't receive the recognition and importance it truly deserves in many projects.
Just imagine a world where we only developed software but never tested it. What would that look like? After all, everyone expects software products to be reliable, don't they?
Championing software quality assurance, particularly software testing, is undoubtedly a significant challenge. But it's a challenge Joachim wholeheartedly embraces.
Why? Because he finds it fascinating. Because it's what he does best. And above all, because he's genuinely passionate about it.
For Joachim, few things are more rewarding than helping shape a professional environment where quality isn't just an afterthought, but is built into everything from the very beginning and continuously throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Lisa has been spreading agile joy to the testing world and testing joy to the agile world for two decades. Her current interests include helping teams succeed with continuous delivery and deployment. She lives with her husband, donkeys, cats and dogs in beautiful Vermont.
