About the Book
A heart-shattering tribute and urgent call to witness what history has tried to erase. In Don’t Call Us Anonymous, survivor-advocate Sultan Fariz Syah brings to light the untold stories of over 215,000 children—girls and boys—abducted, tortured, and killed in the shadows of Rumoh Geudong and beyond. Through powerful narrative, you will meet Fatimah Zahra, Nur Aini, Muhammad Nur, and dozens more whose names were almost lost to darkness.
With meticulous research and searing firsthand testimonies, Syah exposes the uniforms behind the horror: TNI, BRIMOB, KOPASSUS, and POLRI officers trained not to protect but to destroy. He weaves together data from six regions—Aceh, Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and Riau—to reveal a systematic campaign of violence against the most vulnerable.
This is more than a book; it is a collective act of remembrance. Each chapter restores a name, each statistic a soul. Don’t Call Us Anonymous confronts you with the unbearable truth that justice demands memory. If you believe that every child deserves dignity, every atrocity demands reckoning, and every voice must be heard—then read this book and join the fight to ensure that these children are never forgotten.
About the Author
Sultan Fariz Syah is a legal historian, author, and humanitarian advocate based in Europe. A direct descendant of Sultan Iskandar Muda, he leads the Aceh Independent Nation CIC UK and the Justice for Acehnese Children Initiative, documenting war crimes, forced disappearances, and human rights abuses in occupied Aceh. Trained in international law and Islamic jurisprudence in Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, he has worked with global organizations including UNHCR, IOM, UNICEF, IFRC and Many other International organisations. His 100-volume memoir series, The Little Martyrs of Aceh, preserves the voices of children lost during Indonesia’s military occupation.
