About the Author

Osomudeya Zudonu

I help beginners, junior engineers, and career switchers learn DevOps in a structured, production-first way.

There are endless tutorials, AI prompts, certification paths, and roadmaps online. The hard part isn't finding information. It's knowing what to learn, in what order, and how everything fits together when you're building and operating real systems. That's why I focus on structure over information. Everything I build and teach is designed to help you think like an engineer, not someone memorizing commands. I break complex topics into practical learning paths, hands-on projects, production scenarios, and troubleshooting exercises that build confidence one layer at a time. My own journey into tech started with a career switch. Before DevOps, I worked as a safety officer and later as a wedding photographer. Safety taught me to think in systems, manage risk, and prevent failures before they happen. Photography taught me to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and solve problems when every second counts. Changing careers gave me something even more valuable. I understand how overwhelming DevOps feels when you're learning alone. That's why so much of my work is dedicated to helping others avoid the confusion I experienced. Today, I work across Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and cloud security. I've built production platforms, improved deployment pipelines, reduced cloud costs through automation, and designed systems that are easier to operate and recover. Outside work, I share what production teaches me through articles, books, projects, and my newsletter. Every month, my content reaches more than 100,000 engineers who want practical lessons instead of another collection of commands to memorize. If you're learning DevOps, I hope my work gives you clarity, structure, and confidence.
