Artificial intelligence now approves loans, reads medical scans, routes shipments and spends money on our behalf. But when a regulator, customer or court asks where did this model’s data come from, which version made this decision, and who is accountable?, most organisations can only offer assurances, not evidence.

Blockchain was built to replace assurances with evidence. It can prove almost anything, but it cannot think. AI can think, but it cannot prove.

Chain of Thought shows how to combine the two into systems that are both intelligent and verifiable. The result is what this book calls the Verifiable Intelligence Economy.
