About the Book
This book is aimed towards both juniors and intermediate developers wanting to get a quick grasp of performing code reviews for your developer peers. It covers a variety of code review topics but does not intend to go into too much depth in any one of them, nor does this book try to explain how to use the various tools that you’d use for code reviews. This book tries to set the context on which code review processes can be implemented in your teams. For those new to code reviews, this guide should be able to provide a lot of techniques and concepts that aren’t necessarily taught at a college or university level, but is a critical bit of industry experience that will enable you to provide quality delivery of software. Towards the end of this guide you will find a checklist that you can keep as a reference when performing code reviews, and it can be used by both authors and reviewers.
Some of the terms and concepts in the book are familiar within the industry, however, if you find that this book doesn’t explain enough on these I will certainly encourage you to look them up as it will help grow your understanding a lot more.
