The Tagalog translation is faithful and word-for-word, staying close enough to the English that the numbered vocabulary maps clearly between both languages. Tagalog is an Austronesian language with a rich system of verbal affixes (nag-, -um-, -in-, ma-, i-) that mark grammatical focus rather than tense. Because of these structural differences, not every English word's Tagalog equivalent can be tagged inline in the translation line — but every word appears correctly in the vocabulary table directly below.
