A finales de los noventa, la programación orientada a objetos había ganado

y los proyectos seguían fracasando. Las clases se llamaban OrderManager y

CustomerService, tenían cien métodos y dependían de otras quince. Los

objetos del negocio eran cáscaras vacías. Toda la lógica vivía afuera,

duplicada en cinco sitios incompatibles. En abril de 2003, Eric Evans

Cartografía del dominio recorre dos décadas y media de DDD —desde Evans

hasta Khononov, pasando por CQRS, Event Sourcing, Event Storming,

microservicios, modular monoliths y la llegada tardía al frontend— en el

orden en que los conceptos aparecieron en la conversación profesional, no

en el orden en que aparecen en un manual. La tesis: entender DDD sin saber

de qué dolor nació cada idea, qué problema vino a resolver y por qué la

comunidad fue añadiendo capas es quedarse en la superficie.
