About the Course
Most people already use ChatGPT or Copilot every day, and their workload has not gone down. The reason is not the model. A chat window leaves you carrying data in and answers out; the hours only come back when a system is given a whole job, with access to where the job lives.
This workbook is the method, in four lessons:
1. Why your AI is not saving you time: answer, assist and act, and where the minutes actually go.
2. Giving an AI a job: the seven-heading job description, the four kinds of access, scoring your own jobs on four properties, and choosing your first candidate.
3. Making it safe enough to leave alone: timid by default, the never list, the review queue, "could not check", heartbeats and two tests.
4. What it costs and what breaks: honest running costs at small volume, what breaks in month three, and a one-page brief template.
Two exercises, each with a self-check list. Every example comes from systems the author builds and runs for paying clients and for his own company. It is not a certification and not a beginner class in what AI is.
The full asynchronous course, with recorded video modules, written reviews of your exercises and one small automation built on your own file, is at https://devaland.com/ai-workshop
Instructor
About the Instructor
Marius Andronie is the founder of Devaland, a small software company in Romania that builds AI systems businesses can actually leave running: assistants that answer calls and chats from a company's own data, document pipelines, integrations and AI agents. He also builds Deal OS, a due-diligence platform for people buying small companies, where every claim in the brief is cited to its source page or cut. His courses teach the method behind that work: choosing the first job worth giving an AI system, and making it safe enough to leave alone.
Before software, he was a Romanian Army officer engineer, a graduate of the Military Technical Academy in Bucharest, and then spent twenty years typesetting scientific and mathematical books for academic publishers. Both taught him the same habit: understand the system first, and never trust a number you cannot trace.
He lives near Deva, in Transylvania, in a home that runs close to off-grid on solar power, batteries and a heat pump, and he also writes short, practical workbooks for real problems: getting a household ready for outages, managing money on one income, budgeting by biblical principles, gratitude and CBT practice in later life, and grief after losing a pet.
