Hello there! Bynine here with a quick fourth-wall-breaking preamble before the bestiary begins. Feel free to skip ahead to get to the fun stuff. I’ve been drawing for a very long time, basically ever since I could pick up a pencil with my chubby baby fingers. And my subject matter of choice was monsters. I pored over books about biology, Dungeons and Dragons monster manuals, and guides for games like Pokemon and Dragon Quest. With these influences I created legions of friendly blobs, fearsome dragons, and pernicious shellfish. I invented stats and stories for them too - little tales about where they lived, what their strengths and weaknesses were, things like that. Recently I've stumbled upon "fictional" bestiaries, ones who have no real-life or video game applicability, instead just being entertaining reads in their own right. Such examples include the delightful Apple Quest Monsters by splendidland and the mysterious Mud Maze Zug by Beefstrong. So I got to thinking. If they can make their own bestiaries, why can't I? And, well, the rest is history. Enjoy!
