About the Bundle
Three books. Two novels. One shared concern: how people hold on to dignity when identity, memory and justice are under pressure.
Discover Falah Mousa’s literary fiction and nonfiction together in a collection spanning contemporary Albania, post-war Kosovo and the social consequences of prejudice. These independent works can be read in any order.
Borrowed follows Luan Kodra, a bookseller in Tirana, through loss, injustice and an increasingly troubling inner voice. A novel of identity, love and the dignity of ordinary people.
The Silence That Remains follows an effort to recover names and testimony lost to conflict in Kosovo. An anonymous message — “You missed one” — opens a search through memory, hidden truths and the responsibility of bearing witness.
Hatred, Intolerance, and Silence: The Cost of Indifference examines prejudice, exclusion and the silence that allows injustice to endure, with a call for empathy, education and collective responsibility.
Each book is supplied as an EPUB ebook. Read the free first-chapter sample on The Silence That Remains book page to get a feel for the fiction before choosing the collection.
About the Books
Borrowed follows Luan Kodra, a bookseller in Tirana whose life begins to unravel after loss and repeated hardship. As he moves through Albania, a voice inside his head becomes harder to separate from his own thoughts.
Through Luan and the people around him, Falah Mousa explores family, poverty, marginalisation, corruption, love and the dignity of ordinary people. This literary novel asks what happens to identity when isolation and injustice strip away the life a person once knew.
In post-war Kosovo, Arben, Blerta and Afrim work to recover names and testimony lost to conflict. At the Echoes Foundation, their archive becomes a place where silence can be challenged and forgotten lives acknowledged.
An anonymous message, “You missed one,” draws them into a search that tests their commitment to truth and justice. The Silence That Remains explores the human cost of war, the responsibility of bearing witness and the courage required to confront what has been left unsaid.
This Leanpub package brings together the complete novel and Falah Mousa’s writing on Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, international affairs and AI sovereignty, published on www.falahmousa.com.
The collection covers October 2016 through September 2026. It is predominantly in English and includes one Arabic article.
Recent pieces examine Sweden’s 2026 election, Europe’s migration plans for the Balkans, AI and cloud sovereignty, Kazakhstan’s capital markets, and energy politics in the Caspian Sea.

How does hatred take hold, and what allows it to endure? Falah Mousa examines the connections between fear, identity, exclusion and the silence that lets injustice grow.
Hatred, Intolerance, and Silence: The Cost of Indifference considers how prejudice damages individuals and communities, and how empathy, education, justice and collective action can help confront it. It invites readers to consider their own responsibility in resisting intolerance and building a more inclusive society.
