Thousands of meters beneath the Earth's crust, tunnels stretched through the underground kingdom, where ancient monsters had made their homes before invading the Earth's surface. Inside one of the enormous tunnels, nuclear warheads stolen from Greenland on the commander's orders were stored. There were fourteen thousand warheads in total, arranged in orderly rows throughout the tunnel. No guards were stationed there, as the devil's soldiers believed they had completely crushed humanity and that there was nothing left to worry about. But fate had other plans, and the balance of power was about to shift unexpectedly. The tunnel walls shook as sudden volcanic activity stirred deep within the Earth. The surrounding rocks trembled as the disturbances intensified beneath the surface. A small, glowing fragment broke loose from the upper wall and began to fall slowly toward the ground. The flaming rock rolled down the rocky slope, drawing closer and closer to one of the nuclear warheads below. It continued its descent until it was only a short distance from the warhead's sensitive component, then finally struck it.
