Sally Strange isn’t exactly sure who she is, or what she wants to be when she grows up. What she does know, is that it’s definitely nothing to do with math.
Grade 7 is going to be Sally’s year.
But growing up is less straight forward than Sally thought. Things are complicated. Her friendship with Lindsay is strained when Lindsay doesn’t make the cut for the volleyball team. Failing grades in Math have Sally questioning her future. And things are different with Evan. Not bad different, just – different. Even in Math, where there's usually only one right answer – although, hardly ever Sally’s – the numbers have become irrational and the possible outcomes vary. Suddenly, not every problem has an easy solution.
It's an honest and warm-hearted coming-of-age story about living in the now and allowing only our strengths to define us.
