Paras Singh Gusain builds practical, structured paths into technical careers. He is the founder of V.E.C.T.O.R OS, a predictive compliance platform for the maritime industry built on Python and modern AI tooling, and the author of The AI Co-Pilot, a guide to structured prompting and AI-assisted workflow design. Before building software, Paras spent four years as a navigating officer in the merchant navy, standing independent bridge watches on international cargo routes and leading safety and compliance audits under some of the world’s strictest regulatory regimes. That work left him with a lasting respect for systems that have to work correctly every time, and for the checklists, audits, and quiet discipline that make that possible—instincts that run through every chapter of his books. He later moved into client-facing financial advisory work before returning to building, where he now focuses on turning emerging technical skill paths into clear, structured roadmaps for people changing careers. He wrote The SDET Blueprint the way he approaches any new domain: by mapping the fastest credible path from zero to competent, then checking it against how the industry actually hires.
