土生土長香港人，在金融行業打滾十數載。從小起已對錢財事感興趣，卻因為正統經濟學教育，一度喪失對經濟學的興趣；因為主流經濟學論述，刺激對另類經濟學的探索。之後發現，經濟學說誰對誰錯，只有從實證檢驗，故此興趣轉向經濟發展史和現實經濟運作。
