Jesse Gumm is an entrepreneur specializing in web application development. His most recent endeavor, BracketPal.com, a beach volleyball league and tournament management system was recently acquired by SportsEngine, Inc. where he now works full-time. In open source, he’s the project leader of the Nitrogen Web Framework for Erlang and its core dependencies SimpleBridge, Canister, NitroCache, and nprocreg, and he has a hand in a number of other Erlang projects: qdate (date and timezone management), sync (automatic compilation), and ChicagoBoss (MVC web framework).
