Brandon Scott Keath
Brandon Keath is the Founder of TheHackingLab LLC – a start-up founded with the goal of enabling any person regardless of prior education with an aptitude and passion for cybersecurity to transition into the field.
Brandon has prior experience in both private and public-sector IT. Brandon has served in various roles in cyber security over the past 14+ years specializing in business strategy, ethical hacking, cyber security strategy, regulatory compliance, and cyber defense.
Brandon has taught cybersecurity classes for several world-leading Cyber Security boot camps and various universities, including Harrisburg University, the University of Phoenix, and the University of the Cumberlands to name a few. Brandon is active in the local Cyber Security community, founding and chairing the PA Hackers Cyber Security group. Brandon is a co-founder of BSIDES Harrisburg and has presented at numerous security conferences, including BSIDES Delaware, Long Island, and Harrisburg.
Brandon has a Master’s degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from Western Governor’s University, a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in IT management, and is currently pursuing a third master's focused on Instructional Design. Brandon also has various security-related certifications such as EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), and CompTIA’s PenTest+.
