“Travelin’ The Netherlands” is a book written by someone who made a solo trip through his homeland and was crazy enough to keep a detailed journal along the way. These journal entries, combined with loads of relevant travel knowledge formed the book you see before you.

The Netherlands is a great country to travel through. The flat terrain, and modern highway and public transport infrastructure makes it easy to traverse. On top of that, most Dutch people speak English, so getting around is pretty stress-free.

Amsterdam might be the most obvious place to visit, but there are far more interesting places to see in the more rural parts of the country. I therefore made an effort to explore and show the beauty of the country outside of the mayor population centres or the so called “Randstad”. A full travel plan is included. You can either follow in my footsteps or adjust it to your liking.
