Authors All Pointed Me to Leanpub
Sal Kimmich, author of Code, Chips and Control“Yeah, so I had a little bit of help and structure. So first, I was supposed to write a completely different book for a publisher. They wanted me to write on space technology. And I said, I have to write this book first before we get to that. Because I think there's a lot that builds up to understanding it. So I wanted more like space and flexibility. And then I had an old boss of mine, who's also a technical author, start a technical authors club called Software Inklings. And I've been going there and talking to mostly O'Reilly writers about their life and experiences. And they all pointed me to Leanpub. I was like, this is definitely right for me. But my writing process is really, really simple. I did a couple of months of deep research.”
