I Thought Everyone Would Pick the Minimum Price — They Didn't
“But I do, I will counter that with a feature that I love is explaining to someone that's an author how much they've made compared to other platforms, the royalty, also the elastic pricing model. Because for me, I was like, well, how's that gonna work? Surely everyone's gonna pick the minimum — and fortunately not everyone has. And I like that it's not conveyed as revenue, like royalty, this, sales, this. It's actually, it's almost like story told in that, oh, this is great. And actually, if everyone just paid the minimum, this is what you've got. But actually not everyone's paid the minimum, which shows that you have a great book out there. So I think I like that in that it tries to make it more personal to the author, or at least it feels that way to me.”
