SketchUp is Application for creating 3D models mostly for architectural purposes.
This Quick Start Guide introduces some basic Tools you can use in SketchUp.
Then we move forward into applying these Tools through few practical Examples.
We will learn how to create 2D Floor Plan and then how to convert it into 3D House Model.
Additional examples show how to create 3D Components that can be reused in other Projects.
We will also take a brief look at companion Layout application which is used for documenting your SketchUp model by adding: dimensions, labels, text, photos.
