RAT PARK

This work is a precisely dosed and condensed philosophy/reflection on current global society. The goal of the work is to be a handbook for those who need confirmation that things are not as they seem, and that for too long the dance has been led by those who pack terminology well and hide the most serious injustice under it. In case you are overwhelmed by negativism while reading, refer to the chapter "Hanging in there?"

BOOK REVIEW

Zemir Popovac, Specialist in clinical psychology

...(Rat park) is a wake-up call for the consciousness. One does not simply pass through it passively; each chapter demands engagement, opens up space for reflection, and stirs both the intellect and the emotions. Authentic and deeply personal, yet universal, this book explores fundamental questions regarding values, the meaning of life, and human fulfillment.

The author skillfully balances introspection with social criticism. He writes from within—drawing on his own being and his experience of life in Norwegian society—yet also from the outside, from the vantage point of an observer and an immigrant. This allows for a multi-layered perspective: the human being as both subject and object, as an individual and as a member of a society that often imposes false ideals and superficial happiness.

Through keen and moving insights, the book examines the crisis of contemporary values and the nature of the human relationship with God, the self, nature, art, love, and intimacy. It highlights the void that modern man often attempts to fill with external successes and imitations, all the while forgetting his own primordial essence.

This work offers not only valuable observations but also poses crucial questions. Rarely does one encounter a voice that so clearly articulates what many feel but cannot express. I hope this is not the last we hear from the author, for the world needs people who question established narratives and foster critical thinking.
