Alessandra Poma nasce a Savigliano, una piccola cittadina nel nord Italia, il 3 giugno del 1994. Conseguita la maturità scientifica, viene ammessa all’Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi di Milano, dove studia Economia Aziendale e Management dall’anno 2013/2014.Sin da piccola ha un grande interesse per la lettura e per la scrittura creativa e dall’età di 14 anni inizia a concretizzare questa sua passione, mettendosi in gioco con diversi racconti, ma mai destinati alla pubblicazione. È proprio all’età di 14 anni che comincia a definirsi nella sua mente una storia di fantasia e di avventura per ragazzi, che ha come ingredienti immancabili la pirateria e il mistero di un antico patto sancito col demonio; è così che Il Vascello del Diavolo, il primo libro di Alessandra, prende forma.Nel 2010 vince un concorso letterario per giovani talenti, bandito dall’associazione Coloryourlife e nel 2013 collabora con lo scrittore Andrea Bajani e con altri dieci ragazzi ad un progetto sull’invenzione di neologismi, presentato a maggio al Salone del Libro di Torino.
