Since starting my Mincraft server for children with autism and their families, I've had a lot of people come to me for advice on how to start a similar server. There is no short and easy answer so putting together all my notes and thoughts and advice, I have put together this book as a guide for you.

Starting a Minecraft server is a much larger undertaking than you probably realize if you've never run one before. When the players on tha server are children with autism that have come off of bullying from other servers, bullying in school, social and communicative struggles and deficites, frequent meltdowns and more, the job becomes that much more demanding.

This is not a task that most people will be able to accomplish and most certainly no one person will be able to do it alone.

The desire to help people and do for people what you can is admirable but please understand, you can not go into this blindly and you can not go into until you are ready or you run the very real risk of doing more damage than good.

With my experience and advice, perhaps you'll find a way to even better than I ever have. For your sake, my sake and the thousands of children with autism that are still searching for a safe place to play the game they love, I hope you can.
