Laura Lee Giesbrecht creates photographs, graphics designs, and websites while living in the city of Saskatoon located on Treaty 6 Territory. 

Her work straddles the line between the digital and analog realms, connecting moments of physical experience, emotion, and human connection of a lived experience to the interconnected digital realm that we find ourselves enmeshed in. Capturing observed moments throughout her life and travels on a physical medium (film photography) yet dispersing the images through a digital space (digital book, social media).

Over the course of the last two years, her work has evolved as her priorities have shifted. The appeal and dependence on social media waned as her newly realized deep need for human connection was not satisfied within the digital realm. This caused a shift in style from a social media influenced imitation, to a more genuine expression of self. 

Her work seeks to elicit feelings of nostalgia, contentedness, and awe for the living world as experienced through her lens, both literally and figuratively.
