The Grand Unification of Quantum and General Relativity: Mountford's Framework

Abstract:For over a century, General Relativity has successfully predicted cosmic phenomena without explaining the fundamental mechanisms governing gravity, spacetime, or quantum interactions. To account for observational anomalies, standard cosmology relies on ad-hoc concepts such as inflation, dark matter, and dark energy. This paper introduces Mountford’s Framework a reverse-engineered model of General Relativity grounded in pure geometry and Planck-scale mechanics. By treating (G, c, and h) as intrinsic properties of a rigid, static Planck lattice rather than fundamental constants, these parameters normalize, revealing a single unifying equation.

Applying this model yields exact predictions consistent with current empirical observations, utilizing solely geometric principles and the foundational equation. Furthermore, Mountford's Framework provides a structural, pure-geometric mechanism to resolve numerous long-standing physical anomalies. These phenomena include Tolman surface brightness, galactic rotation curves, black hole singularities and maximum curvature limits, the proton-to-electron mass ratio, cosmic redshift, gravitational wave strain and the memory effect, and the horizon problem (achieved without invoking inflation).
